Entroducing (That's a DJ Shadow reference :))

Since no one else has done it yet, let me be the first to introduce you to the blog!

If you're a classmate, welcome. I hope you find our content worthy of your time and attention.

If you're here on your own, let me bring you up to speed.
Information, Preservation and the Future, or "Inforvation" as I keep referring to it, is a project blog put together by four friends and future librarians for the purpose of exploring topics in our upcoming profession, be it to add to the present conversation or simply because we have something to say. We may write something that you find worthwhile and enjoyable, or we may not. The only promise I can make you is that we will write about items that are important to us, things we find interesting or articles we think are worth your attention.

By all means, bookmark us, add us to your feeds or follow the blog. If we catch your fancy, let us know. If you disagree with something, by all means let us know. Your feedback is the best gauge of how we're doing that we could ever ask for and I can certainly assure you that no remark will go unnoticed.

Things are looking sparse now, but not for much longer. Everyone has got some things cooking and we should be down to business quite soon.

  1. Hey, guys! I'm just posting this comment in the beginning because it is pretty general. I really like the introduction here, and how it gives a nice sense of welcoming not just to classmates but to anyone else who might stumble upon it. It was also nice that you linked other blogs from the class over there on the right in your sidebar. Nicely structured blog, overall!
